What this map shows
Dental provision across Vadodara: dentists, clinics, hospital dental departments and the two dental colleges, over the full street network and the official VMC ward boundaries.
Reading the markers
- Filled colour dots are dentists at coordinates published by the source. Colour is their speciality. A number inside means several dentists share that address.
- Hollow rings are directory clinics whose position is approximate - anchored to a locality or road, not a surveyed address.
- Squares are hospitals with dental departments, including Manubhai Patel and K. M. Shah dental colleges.
Accuracy
Every record carries a precision flag, shown when you tap it. Vadodara neighbourhoods are largely unmapped in OpenStreetMap, so some clinics sit on a locality anchor accurate to roughly 1-2 km. Verify before field use.
Wards
Boundaries are the official VMC 12-ward GIS, assigned by point-in-polygon. The published dataset stores coordinates in reversed order; this map corrects that. The newer 19-ward scheme has no public boundary data.
Sources
OpenStreetMap (streets, landmarks, water), VMC ward boundaries via bharatlas / DataMeet CC-BY-4.0, dentist listings from public directories, and institution details from each hospital or college website.

- Compiled from public sources. Listings come from OpenStreetMap, public directories and institutions' own websites. They have not been individually confirmed with each practice.

- Positions may be approximate. Markers shown as hollow rings sit on a locality anchor and can be 1-2 km out. Every record states its own precision when you tap it.
- Qualifications are as published. Degrees and specialisations are reproduced from the source listing and have not been verified against the Dental Council of India or the Gujarat State Dental Council register.
- Routing is indicative. Routes are computed on your own device from OpenStreetMap road data. Travel times come from road class and distance, not live traffic, and road conditions and one-way orders change. VDA never sends your location anywhere.
- No affiliation. VDA is independent of every clinic, hospital and college shown.
- Contact details are published business information. Indian TRAI and DND rules restrict unsolicited bulk calling and messaging.
